How about this for something green?

Maker of the popular all-electric roadster, Tesla, recently announced its new all-electric sedan is finally emerging from development to go on sale mid-2012 starting at around $57,000. Three 'range packs' (160, 230, or 300 miles) are planned. Tesla says the S will seat  7, has lots of cargo space and will zip from 0-60 in 5.6 seconds.

Tesla's all-electric Roadster, two years into production, put the company on the map. The two-seater has a 245 mile driving range. With 288 horsepower, it goes 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 125 mph. It starts over $100,000.

regards going green with the tesla car :

Suggestion get the price range to within the area of the average citizens price range an begin mass production of it to make it economicaly viable option over the average gasoline models currently for sell in this country an i personaly believe that  it's sales would outstrip the normal sales of the current  gasoline models for sale in this country an then the united state of america could tell the saudis to take their oil an drink it along with the high cost of gasoline in this country . but i personal foresee one draw back an that being that  the refuling stations infrastructure  is not currently in place in this country of a total all electric vehical to be a viable option  for a cross country trip of any duration in a vehicle of this type/ nature thank you
