Sprint's HTC EVO 4G looks sweet, but 4G network is limited

The HTC EVO 4G from Sprint has an enviable spec sheet, but there are only a few dozen areas with Sprints 4G service. Tech Junkie's home base in Raleigh is one of them. Sprint has not offered us a test unit yet, but were hopeful. Meanwhile, here are what some of the other reviewers are saying.

The EVO 4G packs powerful specs and a lot of features in a slick, stylish design. The biggest drawback is that not everyone will get to experience 4G connectivity, one of the phone's best features at launch--yet they'll still have to pay for it. However, the EVO 4G is a winner with its superb 8-megapixel camera, its gorgeous and responsive display, solid hardware, multimedia capabilities, and speediness.

Consumer Reports goes to Philadelphia, one of the few cities with a 4G network, to check the speed of Sprint's HTC Evo 4G. This first 4G cell phone costs $200 with a two-year contract.
