Camera enthusiasts have been eyeing Canon's new Rebel T2i as a formidable budget alternative to the beefier and pricier EOS 7D.
Ron Risman of Cameratown.com has done a helpful comparison of the two SLRs going through the various pros and cons of each. In regard to video performance, the $900 premium for the 7D will not gain you a noticeable advantage over the T2i. The 7D trumps the Rebel with its ruggedness, battery life and photographic capabilities like auto-focusing and frame rate.
