In November AT&T Wireless rolled out its 4G Long Term Evolution network in Charlotte which left Triangle residents wondering when the blazing fast network would be available to them.
AT&T is aggressively rolling out its LTE coverage and testing in additional markets - like the Triangle. LTE has been spotted by early adopters. Some customers with LTE devices are seeing faster speeds over the new network already.
AT&T's LTE offers much faster data transfer than its 4G HSPA+ network. My tests on an LTE tablet have reached as high as 18 MBps down and 7 MBps up.
The official announcement from the carrier is likely to come in January.
Verizon beat AT&T to the punch deploying much of its LTE coverage already, but a recent report gives AT&T's a slight edge in speed for now.

I want 4G. It is fast! My Adult Swim maybe won't buffer then!
The form factor for the Samsung is too large for my tastes. I prefer the more discrete form factor of the iPhone.
