I take advantage of the desktop tools built into OSX. On my MacBook Pro, I use nine Spaces and have Expose enabled. I have yet to notice anyone else at the office use them which stuns me. I could not go back to the days before they existed. Lifehacker profiled an interesting 3D desktop alternative called BumpTop that is more organic and very slick looking.
BumpTop's interface an organic virtual 3D space including three walls and a desk were items can be pinned, stacked, resized and organized. The basic version of BumpTop is a free downloadand e the Pro version is $29.Check out the video to get a better idea how it works. Here is the link to Lifehacker's post.
