Emmy Awards (8pm, Fox) - Jane Lynch hosts the 63rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Presenters include Will Arnett, Zooey Deschanel, Ashton Kutcher, Julianna Margulies, Amy Poehler, and Sofia Vergara. HBO leads the nominations with 104 and its miniseries "Mildred Pierce" leads all with 21 nominations, followed by AMC's "Mad Men" with 19. Former Raleigh residents Michael C. Hall and Evan Rachel Wood are nominated.  I'll be watching tonight and doing some live-blogging and some tweeting (@WarmTV), so follow along!

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - A bride-to-be sues a bridal store after she is seriously injured during a sale stampede. Also, Parker hires his ex-girlfriend as a temp.

Breaking Bad (10pm, AMC) - Jesse, Mike and Gus head to Mexico where Jesse is tested and Gus comes face to face with his old nemesis. Also, Walter Jr. becomes concerned when his dad doesn't show up for his birthday party, and Skyler becomes more involved in Ted's IRS situation. I don't know how they keep doing it, but this is another incredibly intense episode.

Rock Docs: Planet Rock - The Story of Hip Hop and the Crack Generation (10pm, VH1) - An exploration of the connections between hip-hop music and the crack-cocaine epidemic, narrated by Ice-T. Remarks by Snoop Dogg, B-Real, RZA, Raekwon, and former drug dealers Azie Faison and Freeway Ricky Ross are included.

Against the Wall (10pm, Lifetime) - Abby and Lina investigate 911 response complaints after they are unable to get emergency help. Meanwhile, Donnie tries out for the SWAT team, which leads to family secrets being revealed.

MTV Video Music Awards (9pm, MTV and VH1) - Tony Bennett will introduce a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse during tonight's show. The tribute includes footage of Bennett's duet of "Body and Soul" with Winehouse. Other performers scheduled for the show are Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Pitbull.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - Jane represents an engineer who claims a school is going to be built on toxic soil, but the construction company handling the build is is one of the firm's most important clients, and Parker orders Jane to drop the case. Meanwhile, Teri is sued for slander for verbally attacking her high school nemesis, played by Patti Stanger ("Millionaire Matchmaker").

Leverage (9pm, TNT) - Sterling enlists the gifted grifters to pilfer a nuclear reactor component from a skyscraper in Dubai during an international chess tournament.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Trouble in Shreveport means Sookie must use her powers to rescue Bill, which causes Marnie to rethink her grand plans.

George W. Bush: The 9/11 Interview (10pm, National Geographic Channel) - Former President George W. Bush shares candid details about his personal experiences on 9/11 and recalls the hours and days following the attacks. Includes never-before-seen archival footage and exclusive materials directly from the George W. Bush Presidential Library. Read Adrienne's review.

Breaking Bad (10pm, AMC) - A frustrated Walt takes a risky gamble and Hank requires the assistance of Walter Jr. for an unusual reason.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (10pm, HBO) - Wanda Sykes returns to the show tonight. Enough said.

The Glades (10pm, A&E) - An Ernest Hemingway look-alike is found shot in the head and adrift in the ocean. Also, an old lover from Callie's past arrives with a surprise.

Top Gear (10pm, History) - Vehicles worth $500 are tested on the Pacific Coast Highway, and the Subaru Impreza WRX STi is tested in a deserted town.

The Glee Project (9pm, Oxygen) - In the Season 1 finale, the final contestants deliver a group performance of the song "Raise Your Glass," after which the winner is revealed.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - A Festival of Tolerance in Shreveport finds Marnie plotting another strike against the vampires, much to Tara and Holly's dismay. Meanwhile, a recuperating Sookie mulls a world where Bill and Eric can coexist, and Marcus recruits an ally to deal with Sam.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - Jane represents a former sorority house mother who lost her entire savings at a local casino and wants to prove that the casino is responsible for the loss.

In the Flow with Affion Crockett (9:30pm, Fox) - David Koechner, Michael Strahan, and Hugh Moore are Crockett's guest stars.

Talihini Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon (10pm, Showtime) - The story of the brothers Followill, three young men from Oklahoma who, along with their cousin Matthew, rose from humble God-fearing beginnings to become Grammy-winning global superstars. This documentary uses exclusive footage of the members and their family to chart the creation of Kings of Leon in 2002.

Breaking Bad (10pm, AMC) - A shocking discovery unsettles Skyler. Meanwhile, Walter Jr leans on his father to buy him a car, and Mike gets surprise help from Jesse.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (10pm, HBO) - Larry and Rosie O'Donnell vie for the same woman's affection. Also, Larry gets to the bottom of a Japanese cultural tradition and turns down lunch with a Los Angeleno.

Entourage (10:30pm, HBO) - Dissatisfied with his new "Johnny Bananas" costar, Drama hatches a plan to bring Andrew Dice Clay back to the show.

Reminder: The "I Love Lucy" marathon is going on over on the Hallmark Channel.

Teen Spirit (7pm, ABC Family) - In a new TV movie filmed in Wilmington earlier this year, a recently deceased queen bee (Cassie Scerbo) must transform a geeky classmate (Lindsey Shaw) into their school's prom queen in order to be granted a rewarding afterlife.

Teen Choice Awards (8pm, Fox) - Scotty McCreery is nominated for Male Breakout Artist in this 13th annual ceremony honoring teens' favorites in entertainment, sports, and fashion. But he's not likely to appear live on tonight's show because the American Idol Tour is in Detroit (but via satellite maybe?). You'll still get to see Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Robert Pattinson, Joe Jonas, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, and Tyler Posey. Kaley Cuoco hosts and will.i.am is the DJ.

Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes (8pm, OWN) - In the show's finale, staff emotions run high during the taping of the May 25, 2011 finale of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - Jane's mom gets arrested when she uses an airplane's emergency exit, and Grayson talks Deb's mom into suing a casino when it uses a photo of Deb in a distasteful ad campaign. Sharon Lawrence reprises her role as Deb's mom.

Falling Skies (9pm, TNT) - In a special 2-hour season finale, growing tension divides the 2nd Mass unit as their planned assault on an alien base draws near, and Tom (Noah Wyle, right) contemplates a disturbing discovery about the Skitters. Most importantly, mysteries about the aliens' motives might finally be answered.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Marnie's powers from beyond force Bill to take evasive, though unpopular action to save vampires, and Eric turns his amnesia into an asset.

Hillbilly Handfishin' (10pm, Animal Planet) - In this new show from Animal Planet, host Skipper Bevins and his partner Jackson take regular people on trips to Oklahoma to "noodle" for catfish. That means they try to catch giant catfish with their bare hands. The clients featured in this first episode include two women from Boston, a brother and sister from California, and two police officers from Chicago.

In Plain Sight (10pm, USA) - In the Season 4 finale, Mary's work interferes with Brandi's wedding when Mary is forced to look after her least favorite witness. Also, I'm assuming Mary will finally make a decision about her baby.

Big Brother (8pm, CBS) - Thursday night's premiere revealed that Jordan and Jeff from Season 11 are back. Jordan Lloyd, the winner from Season 11, is from Charlotte. In tonight's episode, nominations for eviction are revealed.

Primetime: Jaycee Dugard - In Her Own Words (9pm, ABC) - Diane Sawyer interviews California kidnapping victim Jaycee Dugard. Dugard was abducted in 1991 by Phillip and Nancy Garrido and held for 18 years. During her captivity, she bore two children, fathered by Garrido.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - Jane represents the mother of a dwarf in a case against a sperm bank as she awaits a post-date phone call from Dr. Bill.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Sookie has her hands full when she tries to help an uncharacteristically befuddled Eric, but she's in for an even bigger surprise on a visit to Shreveport to see Alcide.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (10pm, HBO) - In the Season 8 premiere, Larry (Larry David, right) has second thoughts about his lawyer and also rethinks a Girl Scout cookie order from the daughter of a sports team owner.

Falling Skies (10pm, TNT) - This series just got a Season 2 pickup from TNT! Tonight, Hal orchestrates a shadowy and perilous plan to slip into an alien lair to rescue been and the other harnessed kids.

Famous Food (10pm, VH1) - The premiere of a new reality series in which seven D-List celebrities try to launch a restaurant together. Some of the gems here include Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka, Ashley Dupre, and Vincent Pastore.

Daytime Emmy Awards (8pm, CBS) - Wayne Brady hosts the 38th annual awards show honoring soaps, daytime talk, and children's programs. Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek are each honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Falling Skies (9pm, TNT) - The premiere of a new summer series about a catastrophic alien invasion, executive produced by Steven Spielberg. Tonight's two-hour debut introduces us to Tom Mason (Noah Wyle, right) and a regiment of citizen soldiers who fight against the invaders. The show begins six months after the attack, the purpose of which remains a mystery even then. It's good. Read our review.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - Season 3 opens with Jane waiting for Grayson to awake from his coma. Paula Abdul, Wendy Williams, and LeAnn Rimes guest star.

Miss USA Pageant (9pm, NBC) - Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic host the pageant, which features 51 women competing in swimsuit, interview, and evening wear categories.

AFI Life Achievement Award 2011: Morgan Freeman (9pm, TV Land) - Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman receives the AFI's 39th Life Achievement Award at a ceremony taped last week in LA. Guests include Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, and Helen Mirren.

The Glee Project (9pm, Oxygen) - The second episode tests the contestants' theatricality. They are also tasked with performing the Twisted Sister metal anthem, "We're Not Gonna Take It."

The Glades (10pm, A&E) - Sharon Lawrence (left) guest stars as the owner of a family racing dynasty in a NASCAR-themed episode that centers around a stolen car and a dead body. NASCAR drivers Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano also appear.

Game of Thrones (10pm, HBO) - The first season ends with tragic news reaching all corners of the Seven Kingdoms, which coincides with a shared vision by Bran and Rickon Stark. Meanwhile, Catelyn presses Jaime about her son's fall, and Daenerys suffers a terrible setback.

The Killing (10pm, AMC) - In the season finale, the identification of Orpheus provides a vital connection to the case, and Mitch and Stan reflect on the past while contemplating their family's future. This show has been renewed for a second season.

Ryan & Tatum: The O'Neals (10pm, OWN) - A new reality series following Ryan and Tatum O'Neal, possibly the most messed up father & daughter duo on the planet. Over the course of the series, the two try to repair their relationship following a 25-year estrangement. Ryan O'Neal has publicly expressed disappointment that Oprah wasn't hands-on during the filming to "use her magic" and fix them.

These days everything's all "Scotty McCreery Scotty McCreery Scotty McCreery," but we haven't forgotten the original local 'American Idol' golden boy, one Mr. Clayton Aiken (right).

So here's a little scoop for the Claymates out there: Clay will be a guest star in the third season premiere episode of 'Drop Dead Diva,' a great little drama that airs on Lifetime.

62nd Primetime Emmy Awards (8pm, NBC) - Jimmy Fallon hosts from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. "The Pacific" and "Glee" are top-nominated with 24 and 19. George Clooney gets the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award. We'll be covering it live so check back here for updates and recaps.

NFL Exhibition: Steelers at Broncos (8pm, Fox) - Emmy has some stiff competition tonight...

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - In the two-hour season finale, Jane works a case involving a cyber bully. Also, Grayson meets Vanessa's parents, and a case involving cryogenics has Jane and Grayson thinking of Deb. Most importantly, who is Jane marrying? Paula Abdul guest stars again, but this time she's not a judge in Jane's dreams, she's her wedding planner. Hmmmm.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Bill tries to earn back Sookie's trust but ends up introducing her to new dangers. Eric, knowing he's no physical match for Russell, tempts the king with "the ultimate vampire dream." Also, Jason tries to wrap his head around the fact that he's dating a cat.

The Cove (9pm, Animal Planet) - This is the film that exposed the abuse and slaughter of dolphins at the hands of Japanese fishermen and won the 2010 Oscar for best feature-length documentary. You may also be interested in Animal Planet's new three-part serires, "Blood Dolphins."

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Peggy and her new creative partner don't see eye-to-eye, and Don pitches a client under an unusual set of circumstances.

Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman (8pm, Discovery) - Morgan Freeman hosts a series of shows (originally airing on the Science Channel) that examine some of the great mysteries of the universe. Tonight's back-to-back-to-back episodes look at implications regarding a possible creator, black holes, and time travel.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - How unbelievably awesome is the Vampire King of Mississippi? Can HBO please give him his own show right now? Tonight, on heels of last week's stunning national news appearance, the King (Denis O'Hare) vows revenge on his enemies. And he's probably still carrying Talbot around in that candy jar.

The Great Food Truck Race (9pm, Food) - The six remaining teams arrive in New Mexico and a snow storm complicates the competition.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - The nauseating "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka guest stars as a dating show producer being sued by a former contestant.

Rubicon (9pm, AMC) - Will begins to suspect someone at API is behind his ongoing problems. The episode is called "Connect the Dots," so let's hope it does.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Don and Pete disregard Roger's wishes while trying to land an important new client.

Scoundrels (9pm, ABC) - In the first season finale (and perhaps series finale?) Logan finds evidence of Wolf's innocence, and Wolf is surprised to see his wife embracing another man.

Dora's 10th Anniversary Documentary (9pm, Nick) - A documentary exploring the cultural and educational impact of "Dora the Explorer" with comments from celebrity fans Anderson Cooper, Shakira, and Rosie Perez.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Bill (Stephen Moyer, left) learns more about Sookie's true identity and Jason finds an unlikely ally in his feud with Calvin and Felton. Also, Nan confronts Eric about The Magister's disappearance, and a grieving Russell vows to get back at his enemies.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - A woman causes a scene at an awards ceremony where Jane is being honored, accusing Jane of stealing her husband.

Rubicon (9pm, AMC) - Will travels to Washington with Spangler, and his team is left to make an important decision on their own. Meanwhile, Katherine discovers a mysterious voice mail message on Tom's phone from the day before he died.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Pete gets an order from Roger and Lane and finds himself with a personal dilemma.

The Great Food Truck Race (10pm, Food) - In the series opener, seven gourmet food trucks arrive in San Diego where the teams compete to see who can earn the most money. Read more about it here.

Roast of David Hasselhoff (10pm, Comedy Central) - Seth McFarlane hosts a roast of the Hoff. Roasters include Pamela Anderson, Greg Giraldo, Lisa Lampanelli, Hulk Hogan, Jeffrey Ross, Jerry Springer, and George Hamilton. It doesn't sound like a fair fight at all.
