Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader (8pm, Fox) - There's a serious danger of folksy redneck overload tonight, when Larry the Cable Guy is a guest on this Jeff Foxworthy game show.

Eureka (9pm, Syfy) - Tonight's the premiere of the second half of the third season (got that?!) of this hit SyFy (formerly SciFi) show. The mid-season cliffhanger of whether or not Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is actually fired will be answered tonight.

The Soup (10pm, E!) - If last week was any indication, Joel McHale will likely be making fun of over-the-top Michael Jackson coverage. Remember fans, he's mocking the talking heads, not the King of Pop.

Try to control the shock and disappointment this will no doubt bring on, but comedian Larry the Cable Guy's May 16 show at Cary's Booth Amphitheatre has been canceled. Refunds are available at point of purchase; phone and online orders will be automatically credited.

No reason was given for the cancelation, but Cary isn't the only LtCG date to get scotched without explanation. A Thursday performance in Great Falls, Mont., has also been called off.

Remember when "Celebrity Roast" meant Dean Martin sipping a cocktail while Don Rickles made mafia jokes about Frank Sinatra? Well, now it means Lisa Lampanelli making cringe-inducing jokes about Chris Brown beating Rihanna in the name of saluting Larry the Cable Guy.

Yes, Larry the Cable Guy. The man who earns millions making Southerners look like backward morons is being honored tonight by Comedy Central.  (And if you're questioning the Roast-worthiness of Larry, consider that Larry stars in an upcoming animated series on Comedy Central.)

When Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheatre at Regency Park announced last month it was changing promoters and going with a firm that does a lot of comedy and theater, that signaled a change in booking direction. And now we have further evidence, Booth's first big-time comedy show. Blue Collar Comedy regular Larry the Cable Guy will perform at Booth on May 21, according to Pollstar listings.
