Cary Police, Johnston County Sheriff's Department Team up to Return Hundreds of Stolen New Home Construction Goods to Builders

CARY, NC – In collaboration with the Johnston County Sheriff’s
Department, the Town of Cary is spearheading efforts to reconnect home
builders with their stolen property following the confiscation of goods
at 381 Gor An Farm Road in Selma, NC; the items include windows,
flooring, appliances, power tools and light fixtures, to name a few.
On July 15, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search
warrant at the Selma residence and discovered a barn filled with new
home construction goods.  The Sheriff’s Department recovered many
stolen items and then contacted the Town of Cary to help identify other
owners since much of the goods appear to have originated from Cary
construction sites.
