Here's some bad news for the rest of the state's wrestling teams: back-to-back-to-back dual-team champion Cary, despite losing two 200-win wrestlers from last year's team, finished second at this summer's Appalachian State Summer Wrestling Camp, only falling to three-time Georgia state champs Jefferson High, 22-10.

The Imps went 10-1 against opponents in the tournament that started July 5 and ended July 9. Here's the final scores from each of those matches:

Enka, NC                            19-12
Centenial, Fla                     27-11
Patton, NC                          27-10
Lexington, SC                    18-11
Ola, Ga.                               24-7
Millbrook, NC                      32-5
Ashe, NC                             35-0
Matanzas, Fla.                     27-7
Palmetto, Fla.                      22-11
71st, NC                              23-9
Jefferson, Ga.                     10-22

Also, nine wrestlers placed in the end-of-week tournament. They were:
103-Justin Leroux   1st place
119-Jacob Brotzman  1st place
119-Harrison Rosenbaum 2nd place
171-Josh Boozer 2nd place
189-Josh Stewart 2nd place
135-Jacob Brinkley 2nd place
112-Adam Elliman 3rd place
HWY Juan Macias 4th place
145-David Alecio 4th place
