Tri-Nine Coach of the Year
Mon, 11/30/2009 - 10:13 — caniacmomof3Congrats to Coach Crocker at MCHS for his Coach of the Year award....but I think that award should have gone to Jim Hynus at HSHS. What a great year the Golden Hawks had -- NO ONE predicted they would win 6 in a row, let alone defeat Fuquay. Coach Hynus, his staff and players had a fantastic year. Maybe there should have been "Co-Coaches of the Year" in the Tri-Nine this year.
Thanks for the comment
Mon, 12/07/2009 - 12:15 — jmikeblake (author)Thanks for the comment caniacmomof3. Both men did exceptional jobs this year. I don't think anyone thought Holly Springs would go on the run they did, nor did anyone call for Middle Creek to lose just one regular season game by 7. Looking back, I wonder if some coaches would've changed their vote if they had known Hynus was stepping down.
