Tri-Nine All-Conference baseball

After going 14-2 in league play, Holly Springs swept the Tri-Nine coach and player of the year awards and placed four on the Tri-Nine all-conference baseball teams.


Rod Whitesell (left) was named Coach of the Year and Golden Hawks star pitcher Carlos Rodon (bottom right) was Player of the Year. The junior lefty and N.C. State commit threw a no-hitter, two one-hitters and four shutouts this season. He led the area with 115 strikeouts.
