Cary, NC (Wednesday, December 10, 2008) – The Carolina RailHawks announced today that they have reached an agreement with Morrisville-based company Etix to be the exclusive ticketing provider for the RailHawks organization. "We here at Etix are absolutely thrilled to be the chosen ticketing provider for Carolina RailHawks FC,” said Ben Schnurr, Etix Client Rep. “Etix was founded in Raleigh and we take a lot of pride in working with clients in our hometown. From individual tickets to group orders for the whole team or company, RailHawks fans now have a way to get their tickets online quickly and easily--without the ridiculous fees! Our vast ticketing experience, combined with our local knowledge, has greatly prepared us to make this a successful partnership with RailHawks FC.” This partnership will simplify the way RailHawks fans purchase individual and group tickets and will allow them to select the seats they prefer as well as give them the option of printing their tickets at home for free. “The partnership between the Carolina RailHawks and Etix is in synch with our mission statement to provide the highest quality family/sports entertainment at an economical and substantive value to our community,” said RailHawks owner Brian Wellman. “Families will save money when they purchase tickets because of the low fees. While we continue to grow as an organization we look to local partners who are willing to grow with us and that is exactly what Etix is. The better we do the better our partners do and which is refreshing for me.” Etix is the worldwide industry leader in developing sophisticated ticketing systems that exceed the needs of their clients and their customers. Whether in need of a full box office solution, online ticketing or a hybrid system, Etix is the answer. Founded in Raleigh in 1999, Etix is a pioneer in web-based online ticketing. Etix boasts a wide array of clients including Energie Cottbus of the German Bundesliga, Shanghai Formula One, Sachesring Circuit in Germany and a number of minor league stadiums in the United States. There’s not a more flexible easy-to-use box office and online ticketing system in the world. The Carolina RailHawks’ 2009 season ticket drive is in full swing with the “All-Inclusive” package for sale as well as other packages tailored to every soccer fan’s needs. In addition the RailHawks are offering three “Holiday Packages” under $50 that include ticket vouchers and exclusive apparel. Any of these I get during the week, I plan on posting here since we only come out with a paper once a week and space is hard to come by. Especially when all the high schools are competing against one another.
I'll try to spare you some of the self-promotion that comes with them in the future. That is, unless, it's promoting the RailHawks. Nothing wrong with promoting them.
