Mobettamerf writes: "I found this one about 8 a.m. after watching a beautiful pink sunrise. Just before reaching the cache site, I noticed a bronze statue of a boy holding what appears to be a newspaper. That gave me pause, but I trusted my GPSr and kept going toward the actual cache site. It's funny how you can pass by a location many times and never really see it. I hadn't noticed the building before, so thanks for placing a cache there that encouraged me to stop and look around. I really like the method used for hiding this cache. It was nice to find one that size in the summer without having to battle through a sea of poison ivy and ticks. I intended to trade a geocoin with the pretty one that is listed as being in the cache, but it seems as though the coin has already moved on. TNLNSL. T again FTC! :)"

a new home for the Geocoin. TFTC [thanks for the cache]! :)"

Was an easy P&G Took the Henrietta TB [travel bug] for us to take on our road trip. We should reach cooler temps in about three weeks. Good luck with your news story and your years in college. getting ready for a day of caching. Almost made it out without being
spotted when another car pulls into the lot. At least it was just Dave
and not the cops. Too many travel bugs to choose from, so we were slow
to move on.”

nittany dave writes: "I pulled into the lot and saw another car near the coordinates that could only be a cacher. It was Sloth151 and Fiddlestix_NC! This was the first time I had met them and we sat and talked for a little bit. I always enjoy running in to cachers "in the wild" and this was no exception. It's also nice to have the cache handed to you!
I swapped travel bugs and returned to its hiding place. I recently bought some carpet from the store across the street so I knew just where this was. Thanks for hiding this fun cache."

Pink Dolphin writes: "It was a hot and muggy Thursday evening, but not just any evening but one before a holiday. You know the type of day that is, work is slow, and most folks take the day off to so they can have an extra long weekend. I pulled into the deserted parking lot at 6:50pm, except for one lone car. Cary was unusually quiet this evening, must have something to do with the pending Independence Day. I got out of my car and began my search, and a quick search it was.
One thing I have noticed cachers tend to have traits that follow them from cache to cache. In this case the container sure looked like Sub32 had a hand in this one, which might explain why he was not first to find in his own backyard.
I signed the log, and picked up 3 of the TB [travel bug] coins to move along."
