A local woman has been selected to be front and center at Senator Barack Obama’s Election Night event in Chicago.

Sara Reese lives in Cary with her husband and 8-year-old son.

She is one of 10 donors to the Obama campaign selected for front row seats at the event.

She's an office manager and volunteers regularly at the Cary Campaign for Change Headquarters. After donating to Senator Obama’s campaign for the first time, she was picked to attend his Election Night event. Along with nine other supporters, Sara and her husband will spend time backstage at the event and will have front row seats when Senator Obama speaks.

In a message she sent to the campaign, Sara said the failing economy has made it hard for her family — and her community — to get by.  She added, “We feel that Barack and his family are REAL, a family just like ours. We support his policies in the war in Iraq…we support his economic policies and plans to rebuild America.  God Bless him Election Night for a better future for our kids!”

Good for her......

Where those the seats that the Obama Campaign was selling for $100K each. I figure the only person that could afford that would be the founder of "Friends of Wake County" Anne Goodnight.
