The Carolina Panthers-New York Giants game on Dec. 21, which could affect home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs, has been shifted to a night game and will be televised by NBC, The Associated Press is reporting.

The game was moved from 1 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. under the NFL’s flex scheduling policy.

The Giants (11-2) have clinched the NFC East and lead the NFC South-leading Panthers (10-3) by a game. The winner would have the edge if they finish tied for the top seed by virtue of a head-to-head victory.

San Diego at Tampa Bay, originally scheduled to be the Sunday night game, will be played at 1 p.m. and televised by CBS.

Philadelphia at Washington and Atlanta at Minnesota will be moved from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Dec. 21 and televised on Fox affiliates.
