On a Thursday when the main news focused on what Time Warner Cable doesn't offer — MASN — the cable TV company also was recognized for what it does offer, winning a CableFax Magazine national award for Best Video on Demand for its Channel 1234 coverage of high school football and other sports.

Sat, 11/01/2008 - 11:06 — UNCAlumnusbut they do a fantastic job with high school sports. Also, they have weekly college shows and press conferences (for some coaches) on demand. I've thought often about sattelite TV. I used to have it, and liked it. That is, except when I had to get on a ladder and brush snow off of it. It was at least in 2001 equivalent to cable. I've heard since then the HD capacity has exploded. I'm excited TWC is expanding their HD service.
