The election is over. And according to John Arensmeyer, founder and CEO of Small Business Majority, a national small business advocacy program, there are key areas that small businesses, the Obama Administration and Congress need to work together to address.
On the top of the list is the fiscal cliff and the "need for rational long-term fiscal policies that continue to offer targeted support for small businesses and the growing economy, while addressing the need to bring down our deficit," said Arensmeyer in a press release.
Also, Arensmeyer believes thats "the administration must continue its work to implement our new healthcare law in order to help lower small businesses’ healthcare costs." According to Small Business Majority polls, there is support from small business owners for the new healthcare plan.
Small business owners and entrepreneurs believe that job creation can come from a clean energy economy, said Arensmeyer. And small business owners believe that getting loan approval and credit is an issue that needs to be fixed in order to allow companies to expand and hire new employees.
