Science author speaks at museum for Darwin lecture series

The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences is hosting science author Carl Zimmer to kick off its Charles Darwin Lecture Series in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth.

 

Zimmer's talk will be begin at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday in the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences auditorium in downtown Raleigh.

Zimmer, winner of the American Association for the Advancement of Science's 2004 Science Journalism Award, will note Darwin's achievements by looking at the newest discoveries about evolution, from the emergence of life to the dawn of humanity.
