Word of God will play at "home"

Undefeated Raleigh Word of God, which has amassed its undefeated eight-man football season with a series of road games, will play its first home game of the season on Friday night in the first round of the N.C. Independent School Athletic Association.

Word of God (9-0) will play Hobgood Academy (1-8) at 7:30 at Wilders Grove Community Center in Raleigh.

Other first-round 8-man football games include #5 Cary Christian (5-4) at Lasker Northeast Academy (5-4), #6 St. David's (3-6) at #3 Halifax Academy (6-3) and #7 Lawrence Academy (2-7) at #2 Kinston Parrott Academy (6-2).
