Wake Forest still at Heritage

Bookmark and Share

Wake Forest-Rolesville High, which moved to new Heritage High for the 2009-10 school year, hasn't moved back to its renovated building near downtown Wake Forest yet.

"We haven't gotten to unpack our boxes yet," said Deran Coe, the new WF-R athletics director. "We don't know the exact moving date, but we will be in before the students come back."

Wake Forest-Rolesville expects to play most of its home football games on its campus, but has moved it Aug. 27 game against East Wake to Heritage.

The Pigskin Preview that WF-R hosts also will be played at Heritage.

The Cougars football team built a 14-1 record in 2009 and is expected to be one of the top teams in the area again this season.
