 2008 record: 5-3 Coastal, 10-4  overall

ACC Recruit ranking: 4.

National Recruit ranking: 23.

Five star: None.

Four star: Coles, Thomas, Wilson

Average stars: 3.05.

Analysis: After the Big Three of North Carolina, Miami and Florida State, the Hokies appear to have the next-best class in the ACC. Receiver D.J. Coles (Fork Union, Va.) Tight end Logan Thomas (Lynchburg, Va.) and running back David Wilson (Danville, Va.) will help the offense, while defensive back Jerrodd Williams (Central, S.C.) is the top recruit on the other side of the ball.
