Third round of NCHSAA boys soccer playoffs

Green Hope and Cardinal Gibbons are still alive in the 4A and 3A playoffs -- Photo by Greg Mintel

It's the third round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association boys soccer playoffs, meaning each classification is down to just 16 teams total -- 8 in the East brackets.

Below are the 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A East brackets. In cases where teams have the same seed from different conferences, we've placed the host team on top.

It's hard to say which conference is having the better posteason. The Carolina 12 1A/2A conference has three teams alive in each of its classifications, but the East Central has all four of its top seeds still alive in the 2A East.
