Last year, Rita Stubbs was a first-year volleyball coach at Grace Christian of Raleigh. She will add to her duties this year, also taking over as the school's athletics director.
Stubbs came to Grace Christian after four years as the head volleyball coach at N.C. State University.
The Eagles went 20-9 last year, winning the Carolinas Christian Conference regular season and tournament titles and making an appearance in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 2-A playoffs.
