Winston-Salem Mount Tabor did a good job shutting off Southern Durham’s running game in a 37-26 win, holding the Spartans to one-yard rushing.
The Spartans showed their explosiveness as Khamari Everett returned a kickoff for 77 yards and a touchdown while Reese Wiggins returned another kickoff 97 yards for another score.
Mount Tabor was led by running back Hunter Furr, one of the top college prospects in the country. Furr scored four touchdowns and rushed for 128 yards on 24 carries.
