Greg Little was a five-star recruit at Durham Hillside in 2007 and after a labored recruiting process announced he was going to sign with Notre Dame.
Little had given no public statement he had any second thoughts, but on signing day he chose the University of North Carolina.
“Me and my mom and my family had a big discussion last night, and we just felt that North Carolina was a better place for me after my football career," Little said on signing day.
"I know there is a lot of uncertainty about what offense [the Heels] will run and whether they will win or not, but I just looked at the overall picture."
The same day Little flipped, Marvin Austin, the top-ranked defensive lineman in the country, also chose UNC in another surprise.
