Ryan Kelly visits Georgetown

Bookmark and Share

Ravenscroft's Ryan Kelly, a 6-foot-10 basketball forward, is making his official visit to Georgetown this weekend. He drove to the Georgetown campus on Thursday night.

Kelly, who is ranked No. 11 among prospects in the Class of 2009, already has made official visits to Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Notre Dame. He also made a quick visit to Duke between his trips to Vanderbilt and Wake Forest, according to Doreen Kelly, his mother.

The Kelly family has had visits in their home with Vanderbilt, Duke, Notre Dame and Georgetown. Wake Forest is expected to come next week. North Carolina, which also is on Kelly's final six list, has not visited in the home.

"It has been an enjoyable experience," Doreen Kelly said. "We don't do anything fancy. The coaches can come eat with us and meet the entire family. We don't have anything special, but the coaches are welcome to eat what we are having."

Ryan is still evaluating the schools, she said. "We trust him to make the best decision," she said.

How much of a shot do you give Gtown with Kelly?
And which school do you think he will sign with?
