Orange County Schools, after conducting an investigation into a comment made to a student by Cedar Ridge High School teacher Jim Pappas, has removed him as athletic director and head boys basketball coach at the Hillsborough school.
Pappas retains his teaching post, but losing the AD and coaching positions will cut his pay by some $28,000.
