Panther Creek High School will be supporting the Toys for Tots charity for this week's home basketball games, on Tuesday against Apex in boys' competition and on Friday against Fuquay-Varina in girls' action.
Patrons who bring in a new toy - in its original packaging - will allow patrons to enter the games at half-price admission ($2.50). Collection boxes will be at the entrance to the game. The school asks that the toys not be wrapped in wrapping paper.
Toys for Tots, a program ran by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, delivers toys to children whose parents cannot afford them.
