I originally had Broughton jumping past Green Hope into the No. 1 spot, but reconsidered.
Green Hope and Broughton tied last Friday 0-0.
My thinking originally went that Broughton has won the last two 4-A state titles so it should get the edge between two very close teams.
But Green Hope beat Greensboro Grimsley on Tuesday night 2-0 and it tied Broughton. Is that deserving of dropping a place?
So even though Broughton beat No. 3-ranked Durham Jordan, I left Green Hope on top.
Panther Creek and Athens Drive jump up while Sanderson slides and Cardinal Gibbons disappears from the ranking because of its 3-2 loss to Ravenscroft.
