Third-round girls team tennis playoffs

After Tuesday's matches, the N.C. High School Athletic Association girls team tennis playoffs are down to just eight teams in each classification. Scroll down to see who is left standing and where their matches will be played at next Tuesday.

Four Wake County teams are left in the 4A East, while half of the remaining 2A East schools are from Orange County. Two Carolina 12 Conference members are still standing in 1A East tennis, while Cardinal Gibbons is still alive in 3A East tennis.

While the first two rounds of the team tennis playoffs are played a week apart, the final three rounds will all be played next week, with the state championships on Saturday. The East finals will be played on Thursday.
