Any chance of getting any
Thu, 02/24/2011 - 16:50 — ProwlingWoofieAny chance of getting any coverage of the Wakefield boys team this year ? Head Coach Dexter Cooley is in his first year, following Pat Kennedy, who bolted for Heritage last year. Dexter, already juggling the responsibilities of Athletic Director, has stepped into the void and led his team to a current #5 N&O ranking, winning the highly competitive CAP 8 conference title and cruising through the first two rounds of the NCHSAA East bracket.
Glad to see articles on Garner and Millbrook, but can't you show some love for Coach Cooley and his squad ?
Reminiscent of football season...
Wakefield

David Justice will be reporting from the Wakefield girls game at Northern Durham. Hope you saw the story we did with Dexter talking about what it was like returning to coaching this year.
