NCHSAA hosts workshops in Wilmington

The N.C. High School Athletic Association is hosting an annual meeting of state athletic association officials starting Saturday in Wilmington at the Riverside Hilton.

The event includes an impressive lineup of speakers from the college ranks.

It's the southeast regional conference for the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Guest speakers include N.C. State director of athletics Lee Fowler, East Carolina director of athletics Terry Holland, ACC commissioner John Swofford, UNC basketball coach Roy Williams and Dave Odom, who previously coached at both Wake Forest and South Carolina.

Attendees will be in workshops Saturday and Sunday before hearing from the guest speakers on Monday and Tuesday.
