Two local rising seniors, Millbrook's Spencer LaCivita and Durham Jordan's Ted Mullin, are both ranked among the nation's best high school soccer players on ESPN RISE.
Both have ACC futures ahead of them.
Mullin, a rising senior, was named Gatorade Player of the Year and N&O boys soccer player of the year. ESPN ranks him as the 10th-best player in the country and the fifth-best midfielder. Mullin has committed to Wake Forest University.
The Falcons went 20-1-0 last year and spent most of the season ranked in the top 10 nationally.
LaCivita is committed to last year's national and ACC champion Virginia. The future Cavalier is ranked the second-best goalkeeper in the country.
