McCallie going to Miami of Ohio

Bookmark and Share

Riverside senior Maddie McCallie, daughter of Duke women's basketball coach Joanne P. McCallie, has committed to play at Miami of Ohio, per ESPN's HoopGurlz recruiting website.

McCallie was one of the area's top players last year, averaging 20 points and 7.5 rebounds per game on the 19-7 Pirates.

Riverside is one of the teams in the eight-team girls bracket at the Holiday Invitational. At least four other players in the same field have committed to a Division I school, including Kristen Gaffney, Dakota Dukes, Kayla Seymour and Bria Day.
