Maddie Plumlee, a standout junior at St. Mary's School, committed to Notre Dame for volleyball.

Plumlee is the younger sister of current/former Duke basketball players Miles, Mason and Marshall Plumlee. While the three boys attended Christ School, a boarding school outside of Asheville, Maddie has played for St. Mary's.

By the time Maddie matriculates to Notre Dame in the fall of 2014, the Fighting Irish will be beginning their first season in the ACC.

Three other class of 2014 volleyball have recently committed: Gabrielle Benda of Wakefield (Marquette), Caroline Neideffer of Green Hope (Appalachian State) and Perry Ramsey of Chapel Hill (Maryland).
