C.J. Leslie plans to schedule home visits soon and begin to create a list of five schools from which he will make his college decision.
The 6-foot-9 basketball forward at Raleigh's Word of God Academy has plans for in-home visits with the coaches from the University of Kentucky, University of North Carolina, University of Maryland, University of Connecticut and the University of Oregon.
He anticipates setting up a visit with the University of Florida.
Leslie said N.C. State is definitely under consideration, although he is unsure he will schedule a home visit with the Wolfpack.
"I know a lot about State," said Leslie, who had committed to State after his freshman year, but later decided to start his recruitment process over.
Leslie said he has a lot more than five schools on his list now, but wants to get the number down to five.
"I want to take it one step at a time," he said. "I want to get a good list and go from there."
Basketball recruiting analyst Bob Gibbons has Leslie ranked among the top 10 seniors in the country.
