Reggie Bullock of Kinston and C.J. Leslie of Raleigh Word of God were named the 2010 McDonald’s All-American Basketball game on Thursday.
They are expected to play in the McDonald’s game on Wednesday, March 31 in Columbus, Ohio. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN at 8 p.m.
This is the second straight year that North Carolina has landed two boys in the all-star game. Last year, Duke recruits Ryan Kelly of Ravenscroft and Mason Plumlee of Arden Christ School participated.
The Atlantic Coast Conference is well represented in this year’s game.
Bullock has signed with North Carolina as has future UNC teammates Kendall Marshall of Arlington (Va.) O’Connell and Harrison Barnes of Ames, Iowa.
Duke recruit Irving Kyrie also is on the team.
The Blue Devils also have Chelsea Gray of Stockton, Calif., and Richa Jacson of Midwest City, Ohio in the McDonald’s All-America girls game.
