Grimsley 35, Northern Durham 14

GREENSBORO — Greensboro Grimsley rushed for 391 yards in the non-conference football win over Northern Durham on Thursday night.

Northern’s Andrew Peacock passed 5 and 34 yards to Cliff Edwards for the Knights’ two fourth quarter scores.

But the Knights couldn’t handle Grimsley's running game.

"Quite simply, we learned that we are not as good as we thought we were after beating Middle Creek last week," said Northern coach Anthony Sullivan. "Grimsley has a very good team and I expect them to do well."
