Analysis: Defensive tackle J.C. Lanier - a huge 6-3, 335 pounder from Twin City, Ga. -- chose the Yellow Jackets over Clemson and leads Georgia Tech's freshman class. Coach Paul Johnson focused much of his recruiting efforts on in-state players: Fourteen of their 23 commitments are from Georgia.
