Four Wake girls soccer teams ranked No. 1

Another week means yet another No.1 ranked girls soccer team from Wake County.

Joining Green Hope, Cardinal Gibbons and Ravenscroft this week is Raleigh Charter, who takes the No. 1 spot among 1-A public high schools.

Green Hope retains its No. 1 spot among 4-A schools, Cardinal Gibbons does the same among 3-A schools, and Ravenscroft is first among 3-A private schools for the second consecutive week.

Broughton and Jordan fell out of the 4-A rankings, where the Tri-Nine Conference has three of the state's top nine as Panther Creek (pictured above) slides up two spots.

Among the other area teams ranked in this week's Eurosportscoreboard polls (by classification):

4-A: Green Hope 1st, Leesville Road 2nd, Apex 4th, Panther Creek 9th, Wakefield 11th

3-A: Cardinal Gibbons 1st, Chapel Hill 9th

2-A: Carrboro 3rd, Northwood 8th

1-A: Raleigh Charter 1st, N.C. School of Science and Mathematics 3rd, North Moore 10th

3-A (independent schools): Ravenscroft 1st, Durham Academy 4th, Cary Academy 8th, North Raleigh Christian 10th

2-A (independent schools): Cary Christian 3rd, St. David's 4th, Carolina Friends 5th
