Finals set for Knightdale baseball tournament

Wilson Hunt and Nash Central have advanced to the finals of the Knightdale Round Table baseball tournament.

The championship game is scheduled for 7:30 at Knightdale.

Hunt defeated Leesville Road 5-1 in the first round and Sanderson 7-1 in the semifinals. Nash Central  nipped Enloe in its first round game 6-4 and rallied in the seventh inning to top Panther Creek 6-4 in the semifinals.

Panther Creek and Sanderson play in the third place game on Tuesday at 4:30.

Today, Enloe plays Towson (Md.) Catholic at 4:30 in the seventh-place game and Knightdale faces Leesville in the fifth-place game at 7:30

The schedule may be changed if the field is not playable today.
