Enloe boys move to No. 1 in N&O rankings

 The Enloe boys move past Panther Creek to take the No. 1 spot in The News & Observer rankings.

Panther Creek lost to Apex 72-62 last week while Enloe ran its winning streak to 10 games. Enloe's only loss this year was to Panther Creek, 61-46, during the GlaxoSmithKline Invitational. 

Panther Creek had lost earlier this year to Ravenscroft.

The Ravens and Raleigh Word of God switch places in the poll following Word of God's dominating 82-64 win over Ravenscroft.

Word of God has a big game on Wednesday at home against Wilson Greenfield.

Wakefield remains  No.1 in the N&O girls ranking, although two undefeated teams can make a case that they would be on top.

 Apex is 19-0 and Western Harnett is 21-0. Wakefield's loss was 54-50 to Bishop McNamara of Washington, D.C., which is 13-8 this season.
