Ross= Great player

Comments like these:

"Don't think Auburn knows what that have gotten themselves into. Beware of Mother Ross!"

"Good riddance! Will be glad when he is no longer involved with PCHS athletics. Major attitude problem. Good luck Auburn. You are going to need it."

Just show how much you people are concerned about him. If Auburn had any doubts about giving him this scholarship. He would NOT have gotten it. And saying "Beware of Mother Ross" has nothing to do with him. She didnt get him this scholarship his talent did. And as for his antics on the court, they are very similar to other players like Michael Jordan or LeBron James. He's very serious about the sport. And the PCHS varsity team is like a family.watching them work in a game is a great expirience. Ross is'nt The only player on the team and it SHOWS in a game. Most of you making comments go off of what other people say and not seeing Ross play yourself. I've attended every game since PCHS' first year. And Ross is an amazing player. And Coach L.J knows what he's doing. So all of making negative comments on Ross his Team and his Coach. GET A LIFE. E.j is an amzing player hands down. Get over it. Auburn your lucky to have him.

Why is everyone confusing

Why is everyone confusing criticism and observations of a player as hate. I have said several times that Ross has talent but his attitude when things don't go his was is my observation and others as well. I believe there is more to basketball, or any sports, than just scoring points. Observing that a player has talent is easy. I watch players interactions during the game but also outside of the actual game and that tells me a lot about someone. With Ross, my observations reveal a talented player but someone with a big chip on his shoulder. I hope Jeff Lebo at Auburn can help him become a more complete player, on and off the court. His UNC background should help.
Contrary to what one poster said, I beleive his "antics" show a lack of maturity. I beleive that he has a lot to learn before he becomes an elite player. He has been the top dog at PCHS for 3 years now and is use to all the attention. The entire program revolves around him and him alone. There appears to be no development of future players for PCHS and the head coach is only focused on his current team. Any coach at the high school level will tell you that the program is built at all levels, varsity and JV alike.
Don't confuse criticisim with hate. Makes me wonder if people deep down notice these "antics" but choose to ignore them. Your choice. I choose not to as I beleive it reveals a lot about someone.

News & Observer-Earnest Ross

ROSS' PICK: Auburn got a potential standout when Panther Creek basketball guard Earnest Ross announced this week for the Tigers.

He may fall into the overlooked category that already includes Garner's David West, who was an All-American selection at Xavier; and Enloe's P.J. Tucker, who starred at the University of Texas.

Ross was scouted by some Atlantic Coast Conference schools, but none offered.

Earnest Ross

Negative comments that were made againt Earnest Ross
make me see that people need to stop. All you are doing acting like a child.
My husband and I attended every game at PCHS and Earnest Ross plays a good game.
I do not know why you hate him so much, but I guess there are people who strive on negative.
Earnest do not let these negative replies bother you because you are a great player and I wish you all the luck at Aurburn.

I have to agree with what

I have to agree with what others have posted about the attitude of Ross. Have witnessed it my self. As for comparing him to Jordan or James, that is a joke. Just shows you really don't know much about the game of basketball. Your attitude seems to be it is ok to act this way as long as you are a good player. This is the type of attitude that is ruining the game of basketball. I would not be surprised if it was not Ross himself posting some of these replies defending his actions. He has an awful lot to learn. As stated previously, watch out Auburn.

 he'd have something better

he'd have something better 2 do then post comments here man.  EJ's just serious about the game aight?  His a competitive guy and all competitive guys can't take losing.  It's not that he has an atitude problem, he just wants to win.  Losing sometimes brings the worst in ppl, u see that mess in the pros, and it's b/c they want to win.  The guy works hard and i'm a freshman at panther creek and its an honor to hav him represent us because no one knows who the next guy will be.  And dude ur calling the comparison of him to Jordon or James a joke, and he truly isn't on that level, but the guy's still a high school kid believe it or not.  To even be a recruit he has talent and it just seems no one respects that.  Look, in Freshman gym class if some kid shows game every1 respects him and shows him love, but for any school to have a guy who truly has it ,confirmed by recruits.. Believe it or not that's rare.  In gym class we all try to show our moves to earn respect but no one even trys to take it from Ross, we all look up to him.  No one seems to look from the perspective of a high school kid(which Ross is)so i'll toss a few pebbles.

Earnest Ross

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – For a young prospect to lead his older teammates, he must be mature beyond his years. Earnest Ross has that covered.

Negative Replies on Earnest Ross

For the ones that have negative replies on Earnest Ross,
get a life! You have no knowlege of sport, because if you did then you know great players such as Michael Jordan,Lebron James and others have similar ways as Earnest Ross.
Get a life and stop hating. He is a great player and watch out for him going to NBA!

As long as things go his

As long as things go his way, everything is great. But his whole attitude changes when things don't go his way. Perfect example, this past summer at UNC-W team camp, his team lost and he really showed his true side. Blaming everyone but himself for losing. Yelling at the referees. Refusing to shake hands at the end of the game. All of this in front of the UNC-W coaches and team there to watch him. Am sure the UNC-W staff regretted their scholly offer after seeing that performance!!! Have seen similar antics from him last year at PCHS when the team would lose. No one is doubting his ability on the basketball court, but there is more to the game than just putting the ball in the hoop. Much more.

Earnest Ross

Stop the negative comments. There were great NBA players who were like Earnest Ross in College and NBA had similar antics.
Get a life!!

I've seen him play in a

I've seen him play in a tourny and he got BUSY..my team was already out and we sat and watch him do everything...he has a lot of potential. he seemed positive and upbeat out there on the court so I don't know why there's negativity going on here. FREE E.ROSS!!!

I have been watching him

I have been watching him play since he was a freshman at Cary High. It is very obvious who is 'running' the basketball program at PCHS. The coach there has no idea how to build the program at PCHS. I have seen Ross numerous times pout, sulk, yell at the referees and his coach and refuse to congratulate the opposing team when things do go his way.

Don't think Auburn knows

Don't think Auburn knows what that have gotten themselves into. Beware of Mother Ross!

Good riddance! Will be glad

Good riddance! Will be glad when he is no longer involved with PCHS athletics. Major attitude problem. Good luck Auburn. You are going to need it

"major attitude

"major attitude problem"????????  DO u kno Ross?
