Coaches clinic

Dave Telep, the national scouting director for scout.com, is bringing together many of the top high school players in the state to participate in the Carolina Challenge on this Saturday at Cary Academy.

 As part of the weekend, the Carolina Challenge is offering a free coaching clinic on Friday at Millbrook. High school and junior high coaches are invited, but no students are allowed because of NCAA regulations.

 When: Friday, March 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Millbrook High Auditorium - 2201 Spring Forest Rd., Raleigh, 27615

What: Come join coaches from all over North Carolina to hear from some great college basketball coaches. This year’s clinic will the  feature the following speakers:

VCU’s head coach Shaka Smart
N.C. Central’s head coach Levelle Moton
UNC assistant coaches  Jerod Hasse and C.B. McGrath
