CARY - A week ago, featured running backs Deandre Henry and Rashad Hedgepeth carried their respective teams to season-opening victories, but only Henry could break free the second week.

Henry, Cary's 5-foot-9, 160-pound junior, broke off touchdown runs of 25 and 31 yards to lead the Imps to a 34-6 win over Rocky Mount Northern Nash Friday night at Cooper Field.

Henry finished with 17 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns before taking a seat in the fourth quarter as Cary head coach Ben Kolstad substituted liberally in the fourth quarter. Henry's performance followed up last week's 175 yards and two touchdowns in a 53-26 win over Broughton.
