Apex, East Chapel Hill, Green Hope ranked in girls lacrosse top five

With the state playoffs ready to start on April 29, and spring break this week for a number of schools, the regular season has all but wound down in girls lacrosse.

Apex, the state's only undefeated squad, has clinched Conference 2 and is ranked No. 1 in the statewide rankings by laxpower.com.

East Chapel Hill, the Conference 4 champion, is ranked No. 3 overall. Apex's conference rival, Green Hope, is No. 4*.

Conference 3 champ Cardinal Gibbons is No. 5*.

*note: laxpower girls lacrosse rankings to not distinguish between a NCHSAA member or a NCISAA members. This blog adjusted rankings for NCHSAA teams. Among NCISAA teams, Ravenscroft is ranked second, and listed as No. 9 overall in the state regardless of affiliation.
