The N.C. High School Athletic Association is inviting friends of executive director Charlie Adams to his retirement ceremony on Thursday, May 7 at 11:30 a.m., at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill.
The NCHSAA will hold its annual meeting from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The retirement celebration begins at 11:30 a.m.
Adams will retire in January, 2010. This will be his last annual meeting.
Following the celebration, lunch will be served in the Smith Center.
Adams has been with the association for 43 years and has been the executive director for the past 25 year.
