NCHSAA baseball playoffs: East regional series starts Thursday


Garner enters the postseason as the N&O's top-ranked area baseball team.

Below are all of the match-ups in the baseball playoffs and we've updated this blog with links to our coverage from every round. The best-of-three series is scheduled to start Thursday. Fuquay-Varina (4A) has advanced to the East final series, while Orange (3A), Northwood (2A) and Voyager Academy (1A) have done the same.

Below are all of the match-ups in the softball playoffs and we've updated this blog with links to our coverage from every round. The East regional final best-of-three series begins Thursday, and South Granville (2A), Wake Forest-Rolesville (4A) and West Johnston (4A) are alive.

Not listed below is Chatham Central (1A), which is in the West best-of-three series final.

NCISAA playoffs for baseball, softball, lacrosse, track, boys golf, boys tennis

The N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association spring sports playoffs are underway, with all of them ending on or before May 18. Below are the brackets for each sport.

St. David's won the 2A boys' tennis title. Runners-up include: Durham Academy girls' lacrosse, Cary Academy boys' tennis, St. David's boys' golf, Cape Fear Christian baseball, Ravenscroft boys track, Ravenscroft girls track.
