Saturday's Rally For A Cure golf tournament benefts breast cancer research

Bookmark and Share

Golfers take up their clubs Saturday in support of breast cancer research during the Rally For A Cure At Lochmere benefit golf tournament at Lochmere Golf Club in Cary.

The tournament is part of the nationwide network of golf events that started in 1996 in support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Proceeds from Saturday's event support the Susan G. Komen Foundation Triangle Chapter.

Shotgun starts are at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., leaving plenty of time for golfers to attend the Spring Daze festival in at Bond Park in Cary and to play a round at Lochmere.

The tournament fee is $80. Contact Lochmere Golf Club at 919-851-0611.
