Raleigh's Anudeep Kodali ranked No. 1 in nation

Anudeep Kodali of Raleigh has climbed to No. 1 in the U.S. Tennis Association Boys 12s rankings, which include 1,445 players.

Among this season's accomplishments, the homeschooled athlete won the July 18-25 USTA Clay Court Super Nationals Championships in Winston-Salem, and he was third in the Aug. 7-13 USTA Hard Court Super Nationals in Little Rock, Ark.
